Basic Info
Name:Tohya, Miho (凍耶 美穂)
Bio

Series: Megatokyo (http://www.megatokyo.com)
Character: Tohya, Miho

Personality: Miho, in general, can be seen as an enigmatic mystery and/or a "creepy goth girl". Miho tends to act playful, but it often seems to be a front for her real emotions. Her intentions are unknown to the characters and the readers, and she generally sees other characters as "games". She tends to use large words in both English and Japanese, and often speaks in a language opposite of what the characters understand to get her digs in. By most readers and characters, she is seen as evil, whether supernatural or mundane, although the former has more truth to it considering her ability to fly and float, having enough strength to turn over cars with one hand, and walking on top of power lines without falling off or becoming electrocuted. To summarize, Miho is playful yet quiet, mysterious and generally sees life as a game.

Background: Much like her personality and intentions, Miho's past remains a mystery. All the readers know is that at one point, Miho used the fans of ex-idol and one of two female protagonists Erika Hayasaka to almost obliterate Tokyo, and has a mysterious, unnamed illness that has affected her in the past (and in chapter 2, where she fainted in the school bathroom), which could have been her downfall.

She played a male character in the MMORPG whose name is unknown (it is speculated to either be Niho or m0h), and used the character to manipulate the game's hidden emotional statistics of a large number of other player's characters, even collapsing an east coast server. However, the main characters, Piro and Largo, used their avatars (Pirogoeth, a female Piro, and Largo as himself) to defeat her character after she betrayed the duo, by taking advantage of the emotional statistics of Miho's character. Since then, Miho has an ongoing rivalry with Largo and Piro, but the fights never go past verbal stages.

It is speculated, but not confirmed, that Miho was at one point a magical girl who fed from emotions, which seemed to keep her content enough to not eat. The implication of Miho's own words during chapter 8 and her abilities seem to point to such. She seems to have had a "drastic shift in reality" that impacted her negatively, which may explain the absence of her parents (she lives inside the Cave of Evil nightclub) and her abscence from school. This also could be part of why her classmates view her in a negative light (either that, or she's just creepy). Her only friend (whether or not Miho considers her as such is unknown) is the gynoid, Ping, who is currently under Piro's care.

As of the end of chapter 9, Miho has been caught in an explosion which may or may not have killed her (although there is a possibility that she is undead).
